The red would definitely provide a focal point, as long as it doesn't look like you took a magic marker and went "fwoosh"

Wow, that's very pretty, I adore the technique used..
In my opinion black and white works well in this without any tints of other colours. ^^
What's the difference between this one and the previous one you uploaded a few minutes earlier...?

I can feel death, can see its beady eyes
Love it. As the line work is more subtle on this one I would suggest that red would be too full on for the eye region. Perhaps a touch of emerald green or blue on the iris? Your call, be careful.
