Well, we're on the second day of our "holiday"

That would be the one we have to take in our own house! But it IS a holiday because my 4 little darlings have all gone to Spain with their father, leaving us all alone! You have no idea of the peace. Nor of the noise a 13, 18 and 2 X 21 year old can make! Or the mess. It was so lovely to walk into the kitchen to find it just as tidy as when I left it - or the sofa cushions in the same place....only 4 more days and they come back....

So what have my beloved and I been up to? Well, apart from the obvious, we have finally sent out our wedding invites AND updated and fixed my website. Please visit it at

The pic above shows a couple from a range of sculptures (Button Buddies) that I made for Country Artists a few years ago - quite fun, originals made in plastiline (plasticine with a lot of wax in it) and then turned into hard whites - these are then sent to China to be mass produced and then back to England to be painted. This range sadly never made the big time - the initial order was rejected by the States (suddenly too expensive) and they pulled out of the deal. The order was sold off and no more were made.

I am also trying to sort out all the artwork that needs finishing, so hopefully there will be some more on deviant art soon.

And finally, I am happy to take commissions - from complex realistic pencil to simple line work, from watercolour to acrylic. Ask me to and I will do it. You can name your price if you want to and I'll work to that.
